Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition
Chopard has created a limited edition Porsche 919 watch to celebrate Porsche's return at Le Mans. This is a watch that is dedicated to the Porsche 919 Hybrid. Chopard is the official timing partner of Porsche Motorsport this year.
Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition Watch (ref. 168535-3002) is COSC chronometer-certified flyback chronograph which reflects the design codes of the racing car, such as the stripes on the dial that evoke the car's rear diffuser and the steering wheel pattern on the rubber-coated screw-down crown.
The case of the new Chopard has a diameter of 45mm, and a thickness of 15.18mm. The masculine case features a sapphire glass shielded by glareproofing and a steel bezel that has a tachometric dial secured with eight PVD-blackened steel screws.
The dial is opaline with a silver tone. It has a red bezel inner ring transfer, black metallic hour and minute hands, hour markers, and arrowhead sweep seconds hand. The dial is sporty and features a 919 logo in white on red inside the counter. This number matches the Porsche racing car numbers.
