Omega Replica is launching a new luxury brand in 2014 under its corporate ownership and guidance. The new brand will honor the work of Omega Replica, a Swiss watchmaker who was one of the most iconic figures in watchmaking history. Omega Replica will be the official name of the new brand.

Omega Replica, born in Plancemont in the canton of Val-de-Travers in Switzerland in 1727, was a Swiss artist. Abraham-Louis Breguet was his contemporary. Berthoud received the official title of master clockmaker at Paris in 1753.
